Job Summary

We are hiring a Youth Therapist, Substance Use Services (SUS) to join our team in Fraser Health. The role focuses on delivering client- and family-centered care through trauma-informed, evidence-informed practice for youth and families affected by persistent mental illness and substance use disorders.

Detailed Overview

Reporting to the Coordinator or designated supervisor, the Youth Therapist works within a framework of cultural safety and humility, supports care coordination across substance use services and local and provincial services, and strives to reduce barriers to re-entering the system of care. The therapist provides screening, assessment, treatment recommendations and plans, case management, therapy (individual and group), and liaison with community resources.
