Enhance care as a Wound and Ostomy Nurse with SE Health in Barrie. Provide specialized holistic assessments and consultations to individuals and families facing ostomy and continence concerns.
As a vital part of the Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team, you will engage in clinical support and collaboration with interprofessional teams to address acute and chronic needs. This role involves crafting treatment recommendations and educational mentorship to elevate wound care knowledge within SE Health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed holistic assessments for clients
• Collaborate on treatment plans with interprofessional teams
• Evaluate and refine care plans with Wound Care Resource Nurses
• Offer education and mentorship to care providers
• Facilitate knowledge dissemination on wound management
Requirements:
• Completion of NSWOCC WOC-EP program
• Active RN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
