Full-time position. The Weatherization Energy Auditor is responsible for assessing clients’ housing needs. This position estimates and oversees work for HEAP/Weatherization, DOE and other associated Energy and Housing Programs, and provides client education about energy conservation and other housing-related issues. As an Energy Auditor and/or Quality Control Inspector for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), you will be responsible for conducting energy audits of residential buildings to identify energy‑saving opportunities.
You will use specialized equipment and advanced diagnostic tests to measure energy use, assess building envelope and HVAC systems, and provide recommendations for improvements.
