Water/Wastewater Operator II - 3 Positions Public Works – Water & Wastewater Regular Full-Time CUPE LOCAL 966- Public Works Under general supervision, performs manual and equipment operating duties in the performance of various Public Works construction, maintenance or operational functions Responsibilities: + Maintains, operates and inspects water distribution and wastewater collection system assets + Performs water quality and system tests and takes corrective actions + Ensures all work is performed in compliance with relevant standards, legislation and regulations + Performs hand excavation, backfilling, restoration works, concrete work and pipe laying + Cleans sewer mains, laterals and manholes of debris and sediment + Maintains a neat appearance and performs duties in a way which conveys a positive image' of the Region Qualifications: + Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent + Minimum one (1) year of job related experience + Minimum acceptable MOE certification...
