Background and Purpose Of The Role
The North America Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic continuous improvement projects in one or more of the seven Distribution Centers in the US and Canada. They are responsible for managing the 3PL relationship, storage & handling of finished goods through the DC network, and the loading of customer orders within budget guidelines. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will ensure on time loading, maximum customer case fill at optimal costs, and compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards as per Unilever guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain team-oriented relationships with 3PLs to improve service levels, reduce costs, increase productivity, and simplify processes.
