Overview
BFM Foundation (Canada) is a national organization with over 50 thrift stores across the nation. The net revenue from all Mission Thrift Stores is devoted to the Joint Ministry of BFM Foundation (Canada) and Bible League Canada. These funds are used by Bible League Canada to establish adult literacy programs, church planter training, and children’s ministry programs, as well as places Bibles in more than 40 countries around the world.
BFM Foundation (Canada) is currently seeking local Volunteer Board Members for the Mission Thrift Store in Pembroke, Ontario, who understand and support the vision and purpose of our ministry, and are seeking a way to use their gifts and talents for God’s glory. Store Board Members are responsible for fulfilling governance responsibilities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and bylaws, conducting board business effectively and efficiently, and holding BFM entities accountable to the Strategic Plan.
