Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor, Social Work

Minimum Qualifications

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
• At least two (2) years of post-MS W practice experience.
• Content expertise in master’s generalist courses and/or specialty content areas related to healthcare social work.
• Health and social welfare policy/advocacy.
• Social, behavioral, psychological interventions for patients/clients in health settings.
• Research and evaluation for healthcare, including community-based approaches.
• Health social work, community and inpatient, including medical/hospital social work specialty areas.
• Mental health diagnosis and intervention in healthcare.
• Diabetes care and management.
• Social work in health and aging.
• Trauma-informed practice.
• Substance abuse assessment and treatment in healthcare settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in social work or related field.
