Lead regulatory compliance initiatives with the Alberta Energy Regulator as the Vice President. This full-time role is critical in ensuring compliance across the energy lifecycle in Alberta.
The AER is seeking a visionary leader for the role of Vice President, Regulatory Compliance. Based in Calgary, you will manage compliance, enforcement, and emergency management. This includes strategic planning, workforce management, and regulatory execution. Collaborative work with senior leaders will shape the future of Alberta's oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team including five Directors in compliance operations
• Develop strategic priorities for the compliance branch
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust plans as needed
• Mentor and develop leadership capabilities in the team
• Drive regulatory change initiatives and collaborations
