Responsibilities

Lead Financial Accounting team to ensure the high performance and integrity of financial control functions of the Bank.Support the end-to-end financial accounting processes and preparation of accurate and timely financial books and records to ensure the compliance with the accounting standards, such as Japanese GAAP, regulatory requirements, and SMBC Group policies.Manage inventory and prioritization of the operational processes of the team and define roadmap to achieve operational efficiencyReview inventory and processes to identify opportunities of standardization with the Group and the region.Support on various financial and analytical parameters to support senior management in effective decision making.Liaise with Internal and External Auditors to ensure audit readiness, timely provision of requested documentation, and follow-up on audit findings.Manage the tax reporting a...
