Position Summary
Full‑time, permanent position at Calgary North Animal Hospital for a Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical preparation, sedation, and patient recovery.
- Perform and supervise physical examinations, patient assessments, catheter placements, anesthesia monitoring, radiology procedures, venipuncture, and pharmacy tasks.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and support their pet parents.
- Manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot problems or ask clarifying questions to find solutions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with pet owners.
Qualifications
- Completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
