This 8-week position is an excellent opportunity for youth aged 15 to 30, supported by the Canada Summer Jobs program. Your role as a Veterinary Technician will include pre- and post-operative support, essential cleaning duties, and customer service responsibilities, embodying Ontario SPCA's values of compassion and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients and provide care information
• Assist with animal handling during treatments
• Maintain records of animal health and medications
• Conduct routine cleaning and sterilization tasks
• Support animal transfers as needed
Requirements:
• Aged between 15 and 30 years on the position start date
• Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) required
