Job Description
Enhance your veterinary career as a Veterinary Extern at Bowmanville Veterinary Clinic, which specializes in general practice for a range of animals, including exotics. Collaborate with supervising veterinarians to hone your clinical and communication skills.
This externship, offered to 4th year veterinary students, lasts between two and eight weeks at a well-established clinic serving both pets and local zoo animals. Students will experience hands-on involvement in gathering patient histories, conducting physical exams, and assisting in surgical procedures. Emphasis is placed on developing effective communication with both clients and the medical team throughout training.
