The University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) invites applications for two full‑time academic positions (Teaching‑focused stream) in Veterinary Anatomy. The appointments will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor (Teaching) (tenure‑track) in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The anticipated start date is 1 July 2026, or a mutually agreed‑upon date.
Responsibilities
Applicants will contribute to laboratory‑based and didactic teaching in veterinary anatomy and may contribute to other teaching activities in the DVM programme as required. Experience teaching large undergraduate cohorts in a laboratory setting is expected, and candidates should provide evidence of effectiveness in this context. Expertise in the comparative anatomy of common domestic species is required.
