The Assistant General Counsel will lead the legal team and provide comprehensive legal support for the company's operations across Canada. This key role requires expertise in contracts, governance, and M&A transactions, allowing you to influence the direction of legal matters and business strategies specifically tailored for the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all legal aspects of Canadian operations
• Negotiate and draft key commercial contracts
• Advise on labor relations and employment law compliance
• Liaise with outside counsel on litigation matters
• Manage corporate governance oversight and compliance
Requirements:
• Membership in Barreau du Quebec required
• 8+ years of legal experience necessary
• Bilingual in both French and English
