This casual RN position involves working rotating shifts at St. Vincent’s Hospital, primarily serving clients aged 18-64. You will be tasked with patient assessment, crisis intervention, and family education while collaborating in a dynamic healthcare team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient care assessments and personalized planning
• Respond to life-threatening crises with direct nursing actions
• Train and supervise Care Attendants and LPNs
• Provide health education groups for families and patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams regularly
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse credential
• Minimum one year in an acute psychiatric setting
• Proven communication proficiency
