Job Description
Fraser Health Authority seeks three Pediatricians for urgent services at the Royal Columbian Hospital in British Columbia. Be part of an innovative healthcare team serving a rapidly growing population.
As part of Fraser Health, the role involves providing vital pediatric care from 08:00 to 17:00 at a high-patterned Level 3 nursery. Candidates will be expected to build a practice in the area with opportunities to collaborate with BC Children’s Hospital and engage in UBC's medical education program. An acute focus on growth and community support makes this role critical for ongoing pediatric service expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide urgent pediatric services at Royal Columbian Hospital
• Establish and grow a local pediatric practice
• Work closely with obstetricians and emergency responders
• Participate in subspecialty clinics within Fraser Health
• Involve in medical education related to pediatrics
