Job Summary:
An Upward Bound intern is responsible for providingcounseling and assessment to the program participants. Interns are required to perform individual
counseling as well as work with groups. The intern will be required to complete a presentation on the topic of
the interns choice for the Foundations’ classes that they believe would benefit
Upward Bound students.
Duties:
The intern will work with students each operational Saturday to assess student needs, such as family issues,
academic issues, as well as career interests and other academic concerns such
as goal setting, prioritizing, time management, test anxiety etc.
need to complete with operational Saturday hours being MANDATORY.
