Responsibilities
- Acquisition of new property rights (fee simple or easement) for transmission line, transformation, and distribution line work, including acquiring/releasing easements on private properties, dealing with encroachments, and managing low voltage rights.
- Market investigation and valuation of land.
- Providing land rights management services for electrical transmission and distribution facilities, including negotiating licenses/leases for secondary land uses on corridor lands owned by the Provincial Government or Hydro One, managing property tax paym...
