Underwriting Assistant, Long-Haul Trucking(ON)

Position Details

What You Will Do 
The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Long-Haul Trucking Underwriting team.
• Ensure all policies are issued within service standards with the appropriate wordings, schedules, and certificates attached
• Verification of insurance certificates issued by our brokers.
• Communicate directly with brokers to track current quote requests.
• Assist underwriters with the pre-selection of quotes and summarize basic exposures.
• Completion of worksheets
• Gather and review information for monthly activity reports
• Review, prepare, create, request and send incoming and outgoing mail, reports and forms
• Other assigned duties, including managing the team's inbox
