Job Description
WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician in Sudbury, Ontario for part-time, temporary work. Perform various ultrasound examinations with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
You will be responsible for conducting general ultrasound examinations, including MSK and abdomen assessments, while ensuring accurate patient preparation and confidentiality. Monitoring vital signs and ensuring the equipment is well-maintained and compliant with health regulations will also be part of your daily duties, contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure patient safety and accurate identification
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before scans
• Observe and note changes during ultrasound procedures
• Conduct quality control assessments of ultrasound equipment
• Organize and manage ultrasound reports efficiently
Requirements:
• 0-2 years of related ultrasound experience
• CMRTO certification required
