Treasurer, United Scottish Cultural Society

The United Scottish Cultural Society (USCS) is a registered non‑profit BC society representing the major Scottish organisations in the Lower Mainland of BC. Formed in 1984, the USCS fosters and preserves the music, dance, language and culture of Scottish immigrants to BC. The USCS’s main programme is ScotFestBC: The British Columbia Highland Games, presented annually for more than 100 years.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for an individual who:

• Has senior-level experience in accounting and financial management, including QuickBooks.
• Has the capacity to commit to a two‑year term, with potential for a renewal term.
• Can dedicate time for board meetings every two months and be on‑site during the British Columbia Highland Games in June.
• Prepared to be hands‑on with the financial operations and reporting.
