Position Summary
The General Superintendent oversees all foundation efforts to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule. Works as a liaison with other departments, employees, contractors, and outside agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations, including scheduling and coordinating labor resources, determining material quantities and delivery, staying current on communication among subcontractors, the owner, the site engineer, and others, and ensuring timecards, logs, estimates, and required reports are completed on time. Oversee crew mobilization and moves. Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, and superintendents. Participate in activities necessary to close each job appropriately.
