Transportation Manager

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Transportation Manager is accountable for ensuring the safe execution, monitoring and analysis of all outbound deliveries from the distribution centre to its restaurants within its designated region. In addition, this role will ensure optimized equipment utilization while driving overall cost reductions without impacting store delivery targets. The position leads and supports the transportation operations within the distribution centre’s 24‑7 multi‑temp environment. This role is responsible for achieving safety, delivery service and finance goals through continuous improvement initiatives, innovation and through leadership of the transportation supervisory team and professional drivers.
