Our company has been a prominent player in metal recycling since 1912, dedicated to sustainability and community development. The ideal Torch Cutter will work with heavy metal pieces, cutting them to specifications while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Experience with plasma/oxy torches is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely layout scrap in the operating area
• Set up and maintain oxy acetylene/propane torches
• Cut large pieces of metal to customer specifications
• Ensure fire prevention and adhere to safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with coworkers
