Job Description
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to serve Texada Island's community! This role offers opportunities for primary care delivery in both in-person and virtual formats.
In this position, you'll be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing health issues, and initiating effective treatments. As a key part of an interdisciplinary team, you will guide health professionals and advocate for evidence-based practices to enhance community health. Active participation in policy making and quality improvement is mandated for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose diseases and disorders in patients
• Initiate and manage treatment plans and medication prescriptions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and patients on health matters
