Test Automation Specialist (Playwright)

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our Agile Scrum team in the development of a Payment and Settlement Solution. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for a modern SPA built using Angular and Spring Boot. As part of a cross-functional Agile team, the Test Automation Specialist will collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, scalable software. This role requires strong technical expertise in TypeScript, Playwright, and backend/API testing in complex, high‑performance financial systems.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days a week in any CGI Atlantic location: Halifax, NS, Moncton or Fredericton, NB, Stratford, PE, or St. John’s, NL. Additionally, Reliability clearance is required for this role (must reside in Canada 5+ years to be eligible).
