Major Duties

: (a) To perform teaching duties in Food Technology and Nutrition related areas; (b) To supervise students’ project / fieldwork placement / industrial visits; (c) To perform student development, academic and administrative related duties; (d) To provide support to students with special educational needs, including organising various activities and career counselling; (e) To develop teaching, learning and assessment materials; (f) To procure, prepare and manage / maintain training materials, tools & equipment; (g) To organise various activities including but not limited to exhibitions, seminars, open days & student admission; and (h) To maintain close contact with industry, commerce, professional bodies and other education institutes; and assist in developing new services and programmes to meet the needs of the industry.
