Job Description
Join the Family Treatment Centre as an Addictions Counsellor in Prince Albert. Assist clients on their recovery journeys through comprehensive counseling in a supportive inpatient environment.
This full-time temporary position is designed for candidates with a Chemical Dependency diploma. You will be responsible for providing individual and group sessions, assessing client needs, and delivering effective treatment plans within the guidelines of the Provincial Clinical Model. Your role in the interdisciplinary team will support the recovery objectives of the Family Treatment Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead group and one-on-one counseling sessions
• Identify individual and family treatment needs through assessments
• Create and facilitate custom recovery plans for clients
• Provide educational programming for clients and their children
• Collaborate with team members to enhance client support
