Job Overview
TD Insurance’s Catastrophe Claims Department supports customers immediately following catastrophic events such as fire, hail, tornado, and heavy rains. The Claims Advisor adjudicates claims, provides advice and support, and ensures customers feel fully supported during the most critical moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, negotiate, and settle Residential and Auto Catastrophe claims.
- Support customer claims from start to finish: open new claims, set up appraisals, assign contractors, generate financial transactions, and finalize settlements in a timely manner.
- Review inspection reports and estimates to confirm damages relate to the loss; determine when additional inspection is needed.
