Tax Manager, Financial Reporting & Tax

Position Overview

The Tax Manager, Financial Reporting & Tax will be responsible for managing a team to complete the tax work required for clients' funds. They will provide consultative tax expertise on issues raised on funds by internal partners, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, external tax advisors, auditors, and internal business partners, and review and evaluate work processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the distribution review process, including conducting distribution reviews and collaborating with internal partners on liaison with clients, external tax advisors, and auditors.
• Manage the completion and filing of income and HST tax returns for trusts, corporations, and other investment fund structures, including reviewing tax returns and filing related tax information forms, elections, etc.
