**Swim Instructor, Sports Core**

**Opportunity**
Swim Instructors receive general direction and training from the Fitness Coordinator and curriculum based off Swim Lessons University (SLU). Instructors are responsible for providing swim instruction based on client ability level and provide pool supervision in accordance with standard operating procedures. Maintain an orderly, safe environment for members and guests.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Instruct swim classes and private lessons for children and adults according curriculum. Proactively coach all students to assure optimum progress.
2. Maintain accurate records regarding class content and progress notations for all students.
3. Maintain a friendly and open rapport with parents; deal effectively with class disruptions when needed. Communicate important information concerning child behavior to parents.
