Job Description
Become a Supply Chain Specialist with Telesat, focusing on contract acquisition and management. This role is integral to procuring goods that support Telesat’s innovative satellite projects.
The Supply Chain Specialist will report to the Senior Director of Global Procurement and manage supplier relationships to ensure all contracts meet Telesat’s high standards. You'll be responsible for understanding complex procurement needs and leading the charge on risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Successful candidates will have a strong contract negotiation background and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop understanding of corporate procurement policies
• Procure specialized goods and services effectively
• Own supplier contract management functions
• Monitor supplier compliance and manage variations
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering
