Supplier Quality Engineer III

Overview

The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer works with suppliers to continuously improve performance of key components (reduce scrap, improve process stability and performance) by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans. They track data, will identify improvement projects, and manage cross‑functional implementations to improve supplier performance. The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer requires leadership skills that would enable them to drive major Quality improvement projects across functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain).

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier quality audits (ISO 9001/13485) on a regular basis to ensure vendors and their supplies remain in compliance with Baylis Medical Technologies standards.
• Promote the use of CI techniques at Suppliers to help them reduce variability and achieve process control.
