ON-SITE/REMOTE: On-sitePosition SummaryThe Supplier Planner Jr. key responsibility is to expedite or de‐expedite direct material and adjust supplier schedules according to the demand plan and assure there's no excess or shortage of direct material per product demand requirements.Ensure material is delivered on time and maintains reasonable inventory levels.Monitor supplier delivery performance, backlog, and escalate potential supplier delivery issues that place the assembly line at risk of shutting down production.Essential FunctionsPlans and orders needed material quantities within needed delivery datesEnsures good receipts according to requested delivery datesEnforces purchasing agreement dates with suppliersEnsures optimization of truck load for inbound deliveriesManage PPAP expected dates with suppliers.Coordinates efforts between purchasing, engineering, and qualityChecks order confirmations regarding price and delivery date.Works with purchasing to address discrepanciesCommuni...
