Supervisor, Parking and Traffic Enforcement
Job Description
Reporting to the Program Manager, Parking and Animal Services, this position involves supervisory, public relations, technical, regulatory and enforcement work involving the responsibility for planning, assigning, checking and evaluating the work of a group of staff members who are involved in the enforcement of bylaws and regulations associated with traffic and parking offences, pay-parking and other related bylaws.
Examples of key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise a team of staff to ensure compliance with the city traffic bylaws and other related bylaws, including training, mentoring and coaching.
- Establish, prioritize, assign and delegate daily work tasks and/or shift schedules.
- Monitor and measure staff performance, including input into performance reviews.
- Monitor, maintain meter and permit rates; monitor general inventory and supplies, general equipment, uniforms and fleet vehicles.
