Responsibilities

• Overall safety, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of assigned department.
• Liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process, and engineering related issues.
• Direct and coordinate activities of production workers such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine/setters, test and other plant & system operators.
• Anticipate and adapt to change, making required adjustments to schedules.
• Enforce safety and environmental regulations.
• Direct and coordinate activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
