Position Summary
The Senior Civil Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil construction projects, including earthworks, road building and municipal infrastructure. This leadership role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards in the unique conditions of the Kootenay region. Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all field operations for civil construction projects. Work closely with Project Managers to develop schedules, budgets, and execution strategies. Ensure efficient deployment of crews, equipment, and subcontractors. Supervise earthworks, road building, and municipal infrastructure installations. Manage complex excavation, trenching, shoring, and backfill operations. Champion and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with WorkSafe regulations.
