Explore a hands-on role as a Student Groundskeeper in Slave Lake this summer. This temporary position offers full-time hours focusing on landscape maintenance and grounds care.
Candidates will report to the Facilities and Operations Manager while engaging in essential tasks like grass cutting and debris removal. This role requires you to be a full-time student returning to studies in Fall 2026 and to undergo a criminal record check before starting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use lawn mowers for effective grass cutting
• Trim and manage trees and shrubs
• Maintain grounds by cleaning debris
• Assist team members with additional duties
• Lift up to 50 lbs as necessary
Requirements:
• Enrollment in secondary or post-secondary education
• Must be available for full-time summer employment
• Clean vulnerable sector criminal record check is mandatory
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills
