Structural Engineer

Job Description

AECOM Buildings + Places sector is seeking a Structural Engineer for immediate employment in the Kitchener or Mississauga, ON office, with opportunities for hybrid work. This is a newly created position.

You will work with our team of senior engineers, EITs, technologists, BIM/CAD designers, and project managers to deliver high‑quality structural design projects across industrial, commercial, institutional, and municipal sectors.

You will also collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and civil engineers on larger projects.

Major Responsibilities

• Independently perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
