This role will lead the supplier on-time delivery performance improvement efforts, local sourcing, and local cost reduction pipeline for their assigned categories/commodities in the Vertiv Americas region.
They will promote a lean culture and mindset of continuous improvement and will work closely with suppliers, Category Management, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics functions to improve supplier on-time delivery performance and resiliency.
This position is an integral part of the Procurement function and will align with both regional and global Procurement strategies and standards to drive success at Vertiv.
