Empower Simcoe seeks strategic thinkers for its Board of Directors. This volunteer role impacts lives in Simcoe County through governance and community engagement.
As a member of the Empower Simcoe Board, you will provide oversight and guidance while participating in monthly meetings and community activities. With a commitment of 3-4 hours per month, your role includes supporting our mission and enhancing organizational visibility and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage actively in board meetings each month
• Participate in community events to boost awareness
• Contribute to fundraising initiatives and efforts
• Stay informed about Empower Simcoe’s programs
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure strategic oversight
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Live or work within Simcoe County
• Background in law, healthcare, or marketing preferred
• Desire to gain governance experience
