POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Area Manager Materials Management, the incumbent performs the functions designed to facilitate the receipt and delivery of goods to departments and programs within Brandon Regional Health Centre.

RECEIVING
Receives all incoming equipment and supplies. Checks for visible damage. Unpacks materials, verifies items with packing slip and computer terminal. Reports concealed damages or discrepancies to Purchasing or Area Manager for all items. Checks waybill with conditions outlined on computer terminal and reports any discrepancies to Area Manager. Processes all necessary paperwork such as delivery slips, supply lists, etc.
STORING Place inventory in proper location on shelves in a manner that facilitates the issuing of all existing stock first. Keeps shelves in an orderly and cle...
