Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting for payroll and benefits. This role will record payroll and benefit entries, reconcile related accounts, and support audits and financial report.

Key Responsibilities

• Record payroll and benefit journal entries accurately in the general ledger.
• Reconcile payroll and benefit related balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with monthly close and financial statement preparation.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll and benefits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience in payroll accounting is preferred.
