Implement work instructions and best practices.
- Subject matter expert for all aspects of Customs compliance related to Mexican maquiladora operations.
- Consistently review any law or regulations changes and their impact to the operation.
- Maintain up-to-date automated accounting of all trade cargo data (imports, bills of materials, and exports) to ensure inventories in the Annex 24 match ERP system and physical inventories.
Ensure the equipment in the plant is kept under control per regulations, matched to an import pediment and tagged accordingly.
- Establish and maintain proper controls to keep a healthy Annex 30 statement and reporting.
- Appropriate tracking of materials as they leave and return to the plant, including sub-maquila compliance.
- Maintain the IVA e IEPS Ensure virtual transactions are properly recorded in Annex 24 and are compliant with regulations, including inter-plant shipments.
