Job Description SummaryDiagnose, correct, and prevent problems related to plastic injection process, as well as execute preventive maintenance activities for molding machines.Works with Sr.Molding Engineer to maintain molds, machines and peripheral equipment ready for production, and maintains required documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up assigned molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment (water thermoregulator, dryers, robots, mold heaters, etc.), including changing tools, verifying materials, performing basic preventive mold maintenance, and machine safety verifications, while maintaining updated documentation.Monitor assigned work cell, observing overall process and quality of molded parts.Diagnose and fix root causes of quality issues, making required adjustments to the machine and controls to maintain proper quality and cycle efficiency.Document all machine adjustments on process run sheets and maintain a valid process.Use knowledge of molding processes, experience working w...
