SR ACCOUNTANT P2P TEMPORAL 6 MONTHS

The Sr. Accountant participates in all function based activities related to accounting and internal controls for Accounts Payable. Will lead special projects and initiatives, and will act in a supporting and supervisory role to others on the team.

• Perform month-end accounting close activities including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and other reporting schedules and data analysis.
• Review journal entries for accuracy and timely completion based on deadlines.
• Reconcile vendor payments against bank statement and resolve all discrepancies.
• Provide subject matter expertise for accounts payable related matters to team and in support of all functional departments and business units.
• Assume a supervisory and support role to other team members as issues are escalated and while driving process improvements.
