Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Specialty Doctor to fill a 10‑session post within the Oral and Maxillofacial Department.
The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Consultant colleagues, 3 WTE Specialty Doctors and junior training‑grade staff, complementing the department's expertise.
Responsibilities
Deliver a wide range of treatments including management of oro‑facial sepsis, facial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, TMJ arthroscopy and arthroplasty, salivary gland disease, head and neck cancer services, oral medicine and skin malignancy within the head and neck.
Participate in the emergency on‑call service as a non‑resident on‑call at 2nd on‑call level and respond to emergency OMFS presentations.
Provide in‑patient management and support as required.
Qualifications
Full registration with the General Dental Council.
At least 4 years full‑time postgraduate training completed, with a minimum of 2 years within Oral and Maxillofacial Su...
