GE Vernova – Hydro Power is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the North American Sourcing team. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of contact between project team members and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the procurement process.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Place new purchase orders ensuring compliance with guidelines and U.S. government requirements when applicable.
• Lead kick‑off meetings and develop related action plans.
• Ensure suppliers understand all technical requirements of the order.
• Follow up on purchase orders, gather regular status updates from suppliers, and maintain communication tools with project teams.
• Escalate blocking points (such as supplier deviations) with project and engineering teams.
• Update purchase orders based on technical document updates or change orders.
