Job Description
Role Purpose
Support the development of the sourcing plan and category strategy by executing initiatives and monitoring performance and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the category strategy.
- Execute and monitor the annual sourcing plan for assigned categories.
- Prepare and manage RFx processes, including analysis of supplier proposals.
- Develop negotiation strategies to ensure strong commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate supplier and product development initiatives with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, IS/IT).
- Conduct analytical activities such as scenario analysis, benchmarking, and cost/value assessments.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure compliance with Orica standards, policies, and approval processes.
