Location: Alberta – all AER Office locations will be considered.
Employment Type: Full-Time - Permanent
Salary Range: T3, Level 5, $102,200 - $120,000 per year. The final compensation for this position will be determined based on individual factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

The Specialist, Regulatory Effectiveness & Sustainment plays a key role in advancing the Alberta Energy Regulator’s (AER) model for risk‑informed decisions, the Regulatory Decision Framework (RDF). This role supports the delivery of enterprise initiatives that implement and sustain the RDF, enabling risk‑informed, consistent, and defensible regulatory decision‑making across the full lifecycle of energy and mineral resource development in Alberta.
